Why Locals Love Emado's Shawarma Riau
Emado's Shawarma Riau offers a flavorful journey into Middle Eastern cuisine right in the heart of Bandung. Situated on Jl. Citarum No.2, this cozy restaurant invites diners to indulge in dishes that skillfully blend traditional Palestinian spices with local Indonesian touches, creating a unique and enticing culinary experience.
At Emado's Shawarma Riau, the standout item is undoubtedly the rotisserie-grilled chicken, renowned for its juicy tenderness and aromatic infusion of spices that fill the air as soon as you step inside. The slow-roasted chicken carries a fragrant, smoky essence that pairs beautifully with a variety of rice options like buttery rice and rich biryani, ensuring a satisfying and hearty meal. Complementing these main dishes are flavorful sides such as samosas, perfect triangular parcels filled with savory meat that offer a delightful crispy texture with every bite.
The shawarma itself receives mixed feedback; while it might fall a bit short of true Middle Eastern authenticity for some palates, it carries a local twist with sambal adding a subtle Indonesian flair without overwhelming heat. For those who appreciate a little kick, the peri peri chicken shawarma brings a spiciness that awakens the senses, balanced by cool, creamy garlic or yogurt-based sauces that provide a refreshing contrast.
Visitors will appreciate the homely and clean setting, making Emado's a relaxed spot for families and individual diners alike. The friendly atmosphere is reflected in customer reviews praising the generous portion sizes and the approachable flavors – perfect for those trying Middle Eastern food for the first time or looking for comforting fast food that’s both quick and satisfying.
Though service can sometimes be a bit slow, the quality and heart behind the food make it worth the wait. Emado's Shawarma Riau captures the essence of Middle Eastern cooking with a unique Bandung twist, inviting you to savor each bite full of warmth and character.

I was looking for middle eastern cuisine in Bandung and found Emado's shwarma. I tried grilled chicken with rice and it was really good. The chicken was juicy and yummy. The sambal gives little Indonesian flavour but it was not so spicy. Unfortunately, the shawarma was a little disappointed. And the service is also a bit slow. Overall good but shawarma can be made little better to be more tasty.

a new experience tasting Palestinian food.. The main star is grilled chicken.. I like the yoghurt dip (or i think it is kind of yoghurt) and chilli sauce.. the mandhi rice compliments the dish well.. big portion of rice I might add.. Hopefully I'll be back and taste other selections like humus and samosa..

Food here is nice. I only grabbed the peri peri chicken shawarma. It was good. But it was spicy. The garlic sauce was nice too not like the arab one but its somewhat close

Located on Jl. Citarum in Bandung. What makes this restaurant stand out is the chicken that is roasted using a rotisserie with a fragrant aroma and infused with spices. Additionally, several rice options can be chosen to accompany this roasted chicken, such as butter rice, biryani, and more. Don't forget to try the samosa, a triangular-shaped lumpia typical of the Middle East filled with meat.

Food is so tasty for a fast food. My child loves it so much, not spicy at all. The place is quite clean.

Having a saturdate with my wife. We ordered chicken shawarma and cheee kunafa. We asked for chilli sauce but they dont provide it. Instead, they offer us fresh chilli sambal, it is lovely. The cashier is helpful and humble, mr Joni been doing a good job. However there is no temperature check in the entrance. Need some improvements on some aspects such as kunafa is served less hot and less moist. It should be hot and moist because of its simple syrup. But overall it is good.

The place is easy to locate because located in the center of city. The taste is also good with not too expensive price.

Place : the place is located in very strategic location beside the road , easy to reach and find , Price : the price in this store is decent Service : the staff is very friendly Parking : the parking spot is small for a car Cleanliness : the store is new, clean and well maintained Okey , the best u can get here is the grilled chicken and mandhi rice ( tasty , the chicken is juicy and moist) , the other menu is just OK , the resto name is shawarma , but the shawarma itself taste just OK?? The waiting time is insane if u get here at "buka puasa" time
